These Terms govern your use of the BenchReady application provided by Forge25 Ltd.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and your login credentials.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation or attempt unauthorised access.
4. Your Data
You retain ownership of the inventory information you create. Forge25 processes it solely to provide the service.
5. Shared Inventories
Where enabled, linked users have equal access to the shared inventory.
6. Third-Party Retailers
Retailer links are provided for convenience only. Purchases are made directly with those retailers.
7. Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.
8. Intellectual Property
BenchReady, Forge25, associated branding and software are the intellectual property of Forge25 Ltd unless otherwise stated.
9. Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is". Users remain responsible for checking inventory and purchase decisions.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Forge25 is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Overview BenchReady is a trade supply inventory app. We aim to collect only what is needed to run the service and to be transparent about where your data goes. This notice explains what we collect, why, who handles it, how long we keep it, and your rights.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and name, used to identify you and let you sign in.
- Inventory data: the items, barcodes, categories, quantities and notes you add. This is under your control.
- Sharing details: when you share an inventory, your name is visible to the person you share with, and vice versa.
- Usage data: basic platform logs, plus limited request counters used to rate-limit paid features such as barcode lookups.
Barcode lookup & third-party disclosure When you scan a barcode that is not already in your inventory, the number is sent to Google's Gemini AI service to look up the product name. This is an on-demand action that you trigger by scanning — it is not done automatically in the background. Only the barcode number is sent to Google; none of your other inventory data is included.
Reordering is entirely user-initiated: tapping a supplier link opens a search on that retailer's website in your browser. We do not automatically send your item details to retailers when you view an item.
Please avoid entering personal details about customers (names, addresses, job sites) into free-text fields such as item names or descriptions, as these may be visible in shared inventories.
Who handles your data Your data is stored on the Base44 platform (our hosting and database provider). The AI barcode lookup is performed by Google (Gemini). When you open a reorder link, the relevant retailer processes your search directly in your browser. Each processor has its own terms and privacy practices. As the app operator, Forge25 Ltd also has administrative access to inventory and account data, used only to operate, support and secure the service.
International transfers Because the Base44 platform and its sub-processors (including Google) may operate outside the UK, your data may be transferred and processed outside the UK/EEA. Where this happens, transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (or an equivalent recognised safeguard under UK GDPR), which are data-transfer agreements approved by the UK government that require the recipient to protect your data to UK standards. You can request a copy of these safeguards from Forge25 Ltd.
Retention & deletion You can delete individual items at any time. "Delete account" in Settings removes your BenchReady inventory and sharing links and signs you out. Your Base44 login account may be retained separately by the platform; residual data may also exist in platform backups or logs for a limited period. Your rights Under UK GDPR you have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict your personal data, and to object to or port it. You can exercise most of these directly in the app. For anything else, contact Forge25 Ltd at info@forgetwentyfive.com.
